Honey Drizzled Quinoa and Green Beans with Butternut Squash

I Hope you all realize by now that…I adore butternut squash, lol! So I made this dinner off the top of my head, trying to get some protein and greens into my day! I hope you enjoy!

You will need: 

1/2 cup cooked quinoa

1 cup green beans

1 cup butternut squash

1 tsp honey

1 tsp cayenne pepper

salt and pepper to taste!

 

  1. Microwave the butternut squash so it becomes soft (about 3 mins), until the point where you can pierce it with a fork.
  2. Throw the green beans into the pan and cover with a lid to get them soft. 
  3. When the beans are soft, add cayenne pepper and quinoa.
  4. Cook those two pals together until they are nice and seasoned!
  5. Place the mix on a seperate plate, throw the butternut squash into the pan, cover and let it cook for a minute!
  6. Put everything onto the plate, take the honey and drizzle it over the green beans and Quinoa. Salt and pepper the butternut squash and TADA! Youre done! Enjoy this warm, comfortable meal!

Quinoa and Almond Nut Butter Cereal!

Here we are! My first Quinoa meal! I think I will be enjoying these little guys more often! Maybe a cookie? In salads? It might even work as pizza crust! I will keep you all updated!

 

In the mean time, this is what you will need!

1/2 Cup cooked Quinoa

1/4 cup Almond milk (or regular milk)

2 TBS Almond Butter

1 packet of Stevia

 

Microwave the Almond Milk and Quinoa together for 2 minutes, then stir. 

Let the Quinoa thicken a bit by stirring it, then add the almond butter and stevia!

 

Enjoy, all for 309 calories 😉

‘Nana Pancakes with Almond-nut butter!

Hun, you cant get much cleaner than this! A paleo friendly meal, this will get your pancake fix in! You will need 1 banana(120 calories), 1 TBS of almond nut butter (95 calories), and one egg white. Microwave the banana so that it gets soft, then mash it good! Once its mashed, add the egg white. Pour the batter into a pan, cook it like a regular pancake! Once you’ve made you paleo pancake, add the Almond nut butter and enjoy!

This is for one of those days when you just don’t feel like being creative!! I sauteed the Butternut squash (two cups) with 4oz of turkey deli slices. Enjoy:)

 

Clean French Toast

Very light French toast! 3 egg whites in a bowl, add cinnamon and vanilla, whisk together well. Place bread In mix until saturated. Place both pieces of saturated 100%whole grain bread into a pan until it isn’t soggy anymore. Enjoy! 185 calories.

Banana Bread Sandwhich

Banana bread breakfast sandwhich!! Great post workout breakfast! 1 7inch banana ,2 slices of whole grain bread,1/2 tbs oorganic pb, cinnamon , Splenda, and I can’t believe it’s not butter spray! Mash the banana and add cinnamon (I also added vanilla) and Splenda. Put mash in pan to cook until warm or a bit brown. Toast bread and spray each side with butter. Put PB on the bottom slice of bread, put mash on that slice, make it a sandwhich and tada!!! So yummy! 245 calories ;D

Shrimp and Broccoli Parm!

Shrimp and broccoli Parmesan ! Coat a pan lightly with olive oil... Put shrimp in pan and pour lemon juice on. Sprinkle garlic and onion powder. Stir all together, and then sprinkle Parmesan on top. Cook @400 for 12 mins. Cook broccoli as you'd like! Put all together and yum!!! 251 calories :)

Preheat oven to 400, 2 cups butternut squash, 1 cup of zucchini, in a stone with just enough olive oil to wear it feels slimey! I can't believe it's not butter spray, dash of cinnamon, and a pinch of Splenda!!! Bake for 30 mins!!

Veggie and ham madness!! 1cup zucchini, 1 cup squash, 1 cup ham, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 tsp splenda, and just a bit of olive oil. Broil for 15 mins and done! Add 2tsp Parmesan cheese and you've got a meal for only 282 calories!!
